User Agreement

01About this agreement

This User Agreement sets out the standards we ask every member of the SkillsCredX community to follow. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using the Platform you agree to act in line with this Agreement so that SkillsCredX remains a safe, respectful and useful Student Success Network.

02Your account and responsibilities

You are responsible for the information in your profile and for keeping it accurate. Represent yourself honestly — your name, qualifications, achievements and affiliations should be truthful. Keep your login details secure and do not let anyone else use your account.

03Community and professional conduct

SkillsCredX is a professional environment. We ask you to:

• Be respectful and constructive in posts, comments and messages;
• Engage with others honestly and in good faith;
• Respect differing backgrounds, opinions and identities;
• Avoid harassment, hate speech, bullying, discrimination and threats of any kind.

04Content you share

You are responsible for what you post. Do not share content that is unlawful, misleading, obscene, infringing or that reveals others' private information without consent. You grant us the licence described in our Terms of Service to host and display your content so that the Platform can function. We may remove content that breaches this Agreement.

05Networking and communications

Networking features are provided to help you build genuine professional and educational connections. Do not use them to send spam, chain messages, or unsolicited sales pitches, to harvest contact details, or to contact others after they have asked you to stop. Respect the privacy and preferences of the people you connect with.

06Skills, courses and assessments

When you take a course, assessment or certification through the Platform — whether delivered by SkillsCredX or a partner such as Skill University — you agree to follow the rules of that programme and to complete assessments honestly and independently, unless collaboration is expressly permitted.

07Assessment integrity and proctoring

To protect the value of credentials, some assessments are supervised using remote proctoring. Where an assessment is proctored, you will be told in advance and asked for your consent. Proctoring may involve monitoring of your webcam, microphone, screen and on-screen activity during the assessment to detect conduct that breaches the rules.

08Prohibited activities

You must not:

• Cheat, plagiarise or help others cheat in any assessment or credential programme;
• Create fake accounts, or buy, sell or trade accounts, credentials or reviews;
• Attempt to access, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Platform or its security;
• Upload malware or use bots or scrapers without our permission;
• Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.

09Enforcement

If you breach this Agreement we may take action proportionate to the issue — including warning you, removing content, limiting features, revoking a credential obtained improperly, or suspending or terminating your account. Serious or illegal conduct may be reported to the relevant authorities.

10Disclaimers

SkillsCredX provides tools and opportunities but does not guarantee specific outcomes such as employment, admission or income. Connections, opportunities and content shared by other users are their responsibility, and you should exercise your own judgement when acting on them.

11Changes

We may update this User Agreement from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice through the Platform. Continued use means you accept the updated Agreement.
